Ravello Festival

Here on the Amalfi Coast, summer seems to stretch without any intention of ever ending.

For over a thousand years, Ravello, perched 350 meters above the Mediterranean, magnetizes writers, actors and artists of the whole world.

Giovanni Boccacio, Richard Wagner, Virginia Woolf, André Gide, Truman Capote, Greta Garbo, Tenessee Williams, Rudolf Nureyev, Paul Newman, Italo Calcino, so many !…

Like summer, the festival plays extra time. Under the fingers of the great Italian organist Luca Scandali, the organ of the Duomo was performing tonight with works by Bach, Franck, Listz, Mendelssohn, Ritter, Matter.

Late closing of a mythical musical event.

But at some stage, you have to go back …
